The reason we’re here is because Tim, Founder and Director of Funding People CIC (that's him on the right), lived through his own frustrations when leading his own new charitable organisation...
“I’ve been involved in the voluntary sector since 2004, and I know all too well the feeling of spreading yourself too thin!
After co-founding Crawley Community Youth Service in 2011, I discovered just how hard it was to deliver the projects on the ground and keep on top of the fundraising. After years of unsustainable working hours and working myself to the ground trying to keep all the plates spinning, I ended up burning out. I needed more capacity, better strategy, and better training and experience.
After taking a break, I dedicated a huge amount of time researching, training and learning how best and most efficiently to fundraise AND deliver projects on the ground.
Today, I dedicate my time to sharing what I’ve learned with small charities and non-profits to help them reach their potential, and help the most people.
I’m supported by an incredible team, who’re united by a genuine interest to be part of a project that really helps people.
Together, we’ve supported community leaders to have a clearer understanding of funding, raised over £2.5 million for their organisations and their community projects, and supported their team of volunteers to get funding savvy themselves!
We’re excited for the future, and feel confident in our ability to achieve our aim of creating a more sustainable non-profit sector into the future!"
We have a lovely little team of like-minded people who work passionately to make projects happen. Interested in joining?
