We are firm believers in the power of partnership. Things just work best when everyone’s talking, sharing and collaborating, so that we can all reach our goal of helping people and communities in need to thrive!
Our key partners also work to support small charitable organisations and groups to succeed. With these partnerships, we actively encourage our clients to engage with additional support they need to keep their organisation healthy, and their communities happy.

Crawley Community Action (CCA)
CCA has been supporting small voluntary organisations for the past 60 years. They’re experts in group development (and advice on governance, finance, volunteer management, policies, constitution, and much more), Partnerships, Volunteering, and they’re extremely well connected with all the voluntary groups across Crawley.
Charity Mentors Sussex offers short-term mentoring support for community leaders usually between a three and four-month term. It costs nothing other than a commitment and energy levels from the mentee. They bring together mentees, mentors, partners, and sponsors annually at their annual networking events.
Sussex Clubs for Young People (SCYP)
SCYP works towards their vision for ‘a safe space for every young person, in every community’. As well as delivering their own youth services, and championing youth voice, they provide infrastructure support for youth provision across Sussex. The help set up and develop community youth clubs and support these organisations to operate effectively, enabling the best possible service for young people.
Crawley Borough Council's Community Development Team provide advice and guidance around funding, and other community development projects.
The RPD Foundation works to foster commercial and charity collaboration and encourage greater corporate social responsibility.
“As a charity specifically created in response to the needs of the voluntary sector, we are grateful to have built a positive working relationship with Funding People. This relationship has firstly helped us with our own fundraising needs, but also provided us with a trustworthy and credible organisation to refer the voluntary sector organisations we support to. Many of these are small charities that struggle with fundraising and Funding People have provided a very welcome service to fill this gap.
We are very pleased with the service that Funding People has provided us with and, in addition to this, the feedback we receive from those we refer through to them has been positive.
In future we plan to continue working with funding people as a partner and also contracting them to provide us with our own fundraising needs.”
CEO of RPD Foundation
We know and understand the challenges of fundraising. We've been there personally. We understand the needs of small organisations. Funding People was created to ensure small charities and non-profits get the opportunity they deserve to make a difference in their community.
We're thankful to Crawley Borough Council for their support in our group training program, that specifically targets community groups from marginalised backgrounds, to better and more sustainably access funding.
We're thankful to Sussex Community Foundation for their support in our 'intensive support program' for community leaders in need of intensive mentorship in 'all things funding'.
